The place
Right on the Turgutreis seafront
Turgutreis saves its finest hour for the evening, when the sun drops between the islands and the whole seafront turns to watch. Our tables sit at the front row of it.
The day here runs the full length of the light. Breakfast from 09:00 by the water, long lunches through the afternoon, and dinner as the horizon catches fire — the kitchen going until 23:00. Guests walk over from the hotels along the shore, and many come back two and three times in the same holiday: breakfast one morning, a window table at sunset before the week is out.
What they describe afterwards, review after review, is not just the view. It is a welcome that feels personal — a team for whom nothing seems too much trouble, and an owner who has been known to end the evening by driving guests back to their hotel himself.

The kitchen
Chef Sercan's table
At the heart of the house is chef Sercan, and a menu that runs from the grill to the water.
Chateaubriand carved to share — the dish our reviews return to again and again. Whole sea bass and king prawns from the Aegean side of the menu. Starters made fresh each day, meze for the middle of the table, and a kitchen relaxed enough to do a proper full English at breakfast and a pizza for the children at dinner.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests are cooked for properly, not as an afterthought — one family's gluten-free daughter was looked after every night of their stay.
Bodrum to Miami Beach
A name that crossed an ocean
Salt belongs to Turgutreis — but the name has travelled.
From the Bodrum peninsula, the Salt name crossed the Atlantic to Miami Beach, where a sister venue carried the same instinct for open water, long evenings and a table set close to the sea.
Home, though, remains here: the same shoreline, the same sunsets, the same kitchen at the water's edge in Turgutreis.
